    Digital x-ray is the greatest possibility for saving the x-ray film, casette, consumables and x ray components. On the other hand you can modify the x ray images on the PC.
    These days hospitals wants to digitalize the system for modernization with easy and fast way.
    The digitalization provide comfortable applications like as PACS with excellent result.
    Regarding to digitalization first step was CR (Computerized Radiography) in our life. If we can say that first generation was film scaning, we can say 2nd generation for CR.
    However digital situations are not stop here. Now, the 3th generation is CCD and Flat Panel. The main difference between CR vs. CCD & Flat Panel is not need to IP casette. On the other hand time saving and no need to intentional process.
    And last generation is DDR (Direct Digital Radiography).
    The main difference for the last generation DDR Flat Panel has not got any convertible process and material. The converters is defect to image in the converting.
    If the end user wants to perfect image quality, they should choose the DDR systems.

Q   How can we choose the right system?
A   The middle and low capacity hospitals should choose the CCD systems. High capacity hospitals and university hospitals should choose the DDR Flat Panel systems.
   
Q   Are the digital x rays one type?
A   Many option has the CCD ve Flat Panel up to your needs. For example: dailiy film capacity are lower than 200 films in a day, you should choose U arm system. If it is higher than 200 films in a day, you should choose DUAL system.
